New Practice Members at TonalSpine Chiropractic
Welcome to TonalSpine Chiropractic; we’re glad you chose us for your health care needs. At TonalSpine Chiropractic, we’re committed to making your initial experience as smooth and informative as possible. Here’s what you can expect as a new practice members and how to prepare for your first visit.
Preparing For Your First Visit
After you schedule your appointment, you will receive a new practice member intake form via email. Please fill this out before your arrival to streamline your visit and allow us to better understand your health history and goals right from the start.
For this initial visit, we ask that you bring your completed intake form if you haven’t already submitted it online. Since part of the examination involves scanning your spine, we recommend wearing pants and a top that can easily be removed (such as a button-up shirt). Women may prefer pants over skirts for comfort and ease during the exam. Gowns are available for your comfort.
Breaking Down Your Visit
The first visit will typically last about one hour and 20 minutes. The structure is set up as follows:
- First 20 Minutes—we begin with a complimentary, no-obligation consultation to discuss your health concerns and goals.
- Next Hour—Dr. Dave conducts a thorough examination, which includes INSiGHT™ scans and other diagnostic tests where you may need to wear a gown. Your privacy and comfort are our top priorities during this process.
- Recommendations and Plan—after the examination, he will take a moment to review your results and develop a personalized care plan. Together, you’ll sit down to discuss his recommendations and what you can expect in terms of being able to achieve your health goals.
Discussing the Financial Aspects of Care
After reviewing your recommendations, Dr. Dave will discuss the costs associated with your plan. We do not participate directly with insurance plans but accept all major credit cards, HSA cards, and CareCredit® for your convenience. We never want cost to prevent someone from receiving needed care, so he will also discuss available options at this time.
